Tackling Climate Change

Around 300 local authorities have already declared a climate emergency and there is wider acknowledgement from the built environment industry that change is both happening and is needed.  As a result, there is a growing call for more tailored technical advice to help organisations from both the public and the private sector to address the challenges of climate change and the ever-evolving legislative and regulatory framework that affects development.

Working with devolved and local government and the wider industry, Three Dragons are involved in a number of projects with the common theme of climate change and, in particular, meeting the local and national targets and the move toward net zero carbon.

The definition and approach to achieving net zero carbon is, itself, a challenge and will have a range of meanings for different purposes whether operationally, embedded or unregulated. Three Dragons and its partners can help demystify the approach and advise on:
