About Us
Three Dragons is an independent consultancy, established in 1996, which provides advice on housing policy, development viability and increasing housing choice. Our team’s experience covers housing and construction, town planning and housing economics.
We are experienced as expert witnesses at plan examination and planning appeals and have particular expertise in assessing the viability of development, both for individual sites and for whole plans.
We have developed a number of economic models including a nationally used financial viability model (the Three Dragons Toolkit) and models for forecasting demand for retirement housing and care options and Custom and Self-Build housing.
Although we are based in England, we work across the whole of the UK.
Business continuity during the Coronavirus/Covid-19 pandemic
In line with government guidance, Three Dragons has put in place a plan to continue operating while maintaining our responsibilities to the well-being of our clients, the wider public and our team members. We will be working from home and communicating with clients and others by phone, email and other electronic media including Zoom, Skype, and Microsoft Teams, using the option that best suits the situation. Through the use of these options, meetings can generally be avoided but we would review this where necessary.
